About Ellie the artist:

Ellie grew up with her family in outback New South Wales, where the red colored
soil contrasted with the white barked gums and their green leaves, this has
imprinted on her heart a love for the Australian bush.
Ellie grew up sketching horses, outback scenes and animals she found in books
and on the properties on which she lived.
Over the years her techniques improved with practice.
Early on in married life, she once attended a weekend pastel workshop held by
the local arts club.
This was to have a profound impact on her thirst to express herself through
her art work, another medium apart from graphite to pursue her art.
Please view her gallery of some of her latest works.
May you find from her art the fond memories of the animal you want painted.
And so to all of you who take an interest in my work and to everyone who has
had the prescience and generosity to commission a portrait from me - thank you.

Testimonials
Kellie Stanfield - Tumut, NSW. Australia
Last year I had a request from a friend, Cathy Hess, for a head shot of my Border
Collie.
I just thought that as she had a son of our dog, it must have been for
the photo album.
A short time later I received a “surprise gift” from Cathy.
I was overwhelmed upon opening this rather large parcel, as it was a magnificent
hand painted portrait of my dog,
and there was definitely no mistaking it was
him!
To sit the portrait next to the dog in real life, it is amazing. The smallest
details are included. Even his freckles on the nose are perfect!
I had great pride in taking it to the next weekend’s competition
to show all my friends. They couldn't believe it was so like him.
He now takes pride of place on the lounge room wall.
Thank you, Ellie, it is simply sensational! What a fantastic gift.
